Under section 12(2) of Disabled Persons (Employment & Rehabilitation) Ordinance, 1981 Provincial Council for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PCRDP) has set up District Assessment Boards (DABs) in all districts of Punjab to assess the nature and extent of disability. The District Assessment Boards hold meeting weekly/fortnightly on the basis of number of applicants.
